I hope everyone had an amazing holiday! I still owe you a true Thanksgiving post, but I opted to fall asleep on the couch while eating apple pie and ice cream and watching “Rudolph” with Mitch, Emma and Noodle. (It was a disaster; we all woke up covered in melted goo, and Noodle had CLEARLY eaten a whole lot. 😂) But seriously: it was a great day, and I think our first Thanksgiving on our own was a success. While we missed our families, I’m really glad that we slowed down and took a breather–and I’m so grateful for the quality time we had together! The best part, though, is that because we’re not exhausted from traveling, we’re totally geared up for Christmas. I can’t wait to get back East and down to the lake house!
